What to Know

Critics Consensus

London Has Fallen traps a talented cast -- and all who dare to see it -- in a mid-1990s basic-cable nightmare of a film loaded with xenophobia and threadbare action-thriller clichés.

Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online London Has Fallen is another one of those forgettable end-of-winter action films that don't really make much common sense but are really fun to watch when you are distracted with popcorn. Rated: C+ Mar 21, 2017 Full Review Dwight Brown National Newspaper Publishers Association For a bullet-a-minute action/thriller, London Has Fallen is good. Never great. Nov 8, 2016 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com For what it is this sequel gets the job done. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 15, 2016 Full Review Ian Kane Epoch Times “London Has Fallen” is an action fan’s dream come true and a worthy follow-up to Mr. Fuqua’s 2013 hit. Rated: 4/5 May 1, 2024 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies There are a couple of shootouts that are an absolute blast. It’s too bad there isn’t enough surrounding the action to make this worthwhile. Rated: 2/5 Aug 23, 2022 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Even with the lowered expectations established by Antoine Fuqua's original, the sequel, directed by Swedish filmmaker Babak Najafi, manages to underwhelm. Charlie R My second or third time watching it. I just wish they could have found it in themselves to leave out some of the really cringy Hoo Rah and kept it with a more international perspective. The director missed an opportunity with the Scottish team leader of the SAS squad when he heard Bannon's plan and said "After you." Gerard Butler being from just outside of Glasgow it would have been so on point for one Glaswegian to say to another, "Right, off you go, big man." (Nobody else would get it though.) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/04/24 Full Review Oscar V Es cine, definitivamente envejece bien Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/08/24 Full Review Korra N Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart are great, but the movie around them is just bad. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Dinos K Even worse than Olympus Has Fallen. Gerard Butler is a bad actor and an obnoxious person Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Martin L that was something, lol Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty good movie and entertaining - enough action to keep me intrigued Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
