Eddie S The problem with this action flick is that it has relied on a stellar cast but forgot to at least give us something to feed on so we can appreciate the karate moves and gun play that was laid on like Nutella spread in the first 15 minutes. International flavoured Bond style action flicks can be summed up easily and the gems are there but this has not done the homework - look to and compare de Niro in Ronin - fast cars, guns and violence was was excellently laid on and we never wanted to look away. Good luck with this ham fisted effort. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/24 Full Review Valda R This was accidental viewing. It was on SBS movies. What a great fast paced thriller. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review Jackson O The cast is so amazing you'd hope the film was much better. It's passably entertaining, but well worth the watch just to see all these great actors on screen together. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/24 Full Review Mary S Uh, don't understand the low rating.....was a really good movie! The people that ranked it low probably think Fast N Furious movies are good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Test T I watched this on DVD recently, and I did not like it. There are lots of poorly lit dark scenes and the lead character is plain looking, moody and silent most of the time. The soundtrack is repetitive and annoying and the story is confusing and difficult to follow. The fight scenes look overly planned and unnatural, and there's not much other action. The characters, including the lead, are too dull and serious, and none of them are in the least bit charismatic or likeable. The locations are mostly ordinary and boring, and are often shot almost devoid of any colour. Normally, I manage to find something positive to say about a film, but I'm struggling with this one, other than it only lasts 89 minutes before it's over, and it does not rely on subtitles. I'm going to donate the DVD to charity next time I'm in town, so watch out - you could be the next unfortunate viewer! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
