Even though Oscar-bearers Nicolas Cage, Angelina Jolie, and Robert Duval came aboard for this project, the quality of Gone in 60 Seconds is disappointingly low. The plot line is nonsensical, and even the promised car-chase scenes are boring.

Nicholas Cage stars in this Touchstone release about a car thief that must get back into the game to save his brother. This is Cage’s movie and his performance drives the plot and heart of the film. If you are a gear head this movie is definitely for you! If you don’t really know much about cars, like myself, then this film still has an engaging story and some good action sequences. Though a few of the action scenes use the shaky cam technique too much. This movie might not be for everyone, but I think it is worth a watch.

In 2000 this movie was made. It's a great movie to escape reality for a couple of hours. True to its roots. In 2001 the laborious Fast and Furious was released. Much less of an authentic movie. A part two is long over due! "Gone in sixty P2 Cage & Jolie"
