On any given night, you can find something special at Lee’s Family Forum.
Whether you are watching the future stars of the Vegas Golden Knights hit the ice with the Henderson Silver Knights, sitting front row to the world’s fastest football with the Vegas Knight Hawks, or watching some of the best volleyball players on the women’s circuit with the Vegas Thrill, there is always nonstop sports action in the heart of Henderson.
The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame, located on the arena concourse, honors some of the greatest athletes from Henderson and the Vegas Valley.
With world-renowned musical acts like Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Everclear taking to the stage this summer, Lee’s Family Forum strives to celebrate the exceptional and that also includes the audience.
“From the day we opened our doors in March 2022, the goal for Lee’s Family Forum and Foley Entertainment Group has been to uplift the Henderson community. Lee’s Family Forum is first and foremost about families,” said Gabe Mirabelli, the Chief Business Officer for FEG’s minor league sports properties.
“We take pride in our teams and their success, but the city of Henderson also takes pride in being a gathering place where the people who make our city special can come together. Whether it is policemen, firemen, doctors, or even mothers and fathers, these people make up the fabric of this community, and they deserve to be rewarded with great entertainment in their own backyard. That’s what we strive to be.”
Lee’s Family Forum exists largely because of the support and partnership from the city of Henderson itself. The city hosted the arena’s first event in March 2022 and assisted the building in landing tenants and entertainment.
City of Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero added, “In just two short years, this incredible facility and Foley Entertainment Group have transformed the entertainment landscape in Henderson. Our residents have proven to be fantastic sports fans, and Lee’s Family Forum also helps us attract visitors from all around to discover all that our great city has to offer. My family and I love all the new ways to ‘play’ in our community close to home.”
The Vegas Knight Hawks host Henderson Heroes Knight in May, specifically honoring community pillars, including first responders, veterans, teachers, and others nominated by the fans. In June, the Knight Hawks will celebrate Military Appreciation Knight.
Since opening its doors, Lee’s Family Forum has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Henderson community through the HSK and VKH Foundations, assisted more than 3,500 students with school supplies, and donated over 20,000 stuffed animals through the Silver Knights’ annual Lucky Launch game and toy collection.
“We want to be an organization that gives back, and we are able to do that because we have a generous fanbase,” said Paul Shlisky, senior vice president and general manager at Lee’s Family Forum. An arena atmosphere is only as good as the fans that create it, and our building is always filled by people who love Henderson and its teams.”
It will be another busy summer at Lee’s Family Forum, in the “Heart of Henderson,” and the fans in the seats will provide the heartbeat.
