Sean Bloom has a sharp eye for success, always considering risk versus reward.
Last year, the 21-year-old made headlines alongside his billionaire father, Jay Bloom, after narrowly escaping a deadly trip aboard OceanGate’s Titan Sub.
They might both be dead if Jay hadn’t heeded Sean’s warning.
“I’m always assessing whether potential deals or situations are good or bad,” says Sean, “and luckily, I was thinking that way when Stockton Rush invited my father and me aboard the Titan submarine.”
Sean was born in New York but considers himself a Las Vegas native. “I’ve been living in Vegas since I was one year old,” he says.
Sean explains that the fast-paced desert days and neon-lit nights of living in Las Vegas significantly shaped his life for success.
How so?
“Everyone has heard the phrase ‘the house always wins,’ and people who grow up in Vegas know it. From a young age, I told myself I wanted to be the house,” says Sean.
Sean’s outlook on success is defined by ensuring the odds are always in your favor.
The 21-year-old entrepreneur has drummed up a massive following of over 5 million people on social media.
In true desert fashion, Sean’s Instagram (@seanrockslife) is populated with posts showing glamor, guns, and girls. It’s safe to say Sean lives a lavish life.
According to analysts at BossesMag, Sean’s estimated net worth is $80 million.
How exactly did Bloom amass his wealth? Being the son of a billionaire, some might suspect he inherited it, but Sean says otherwise.
“I’ve certainly been blessed to have a great dad, be around many great people, and have access to opportunities, but to set the record straight, I did not inherit my wealth. In fact, until I started raising money for the family, we didn’t have much when I was a kid. I started doing this when I was about 12 and quickly found out my dad and I make a great team.”
Sean worked hard to achieve his well-off status and revealed that he had made swaths of cash by putting together massive real estate deals and making strategic investments.
He’s currently a managing partner of the Bloom Family Office and founder of an Artificial Intelligence company called HashTunes.
In an interview with Kwame Christian, president of the American Negotiation Institute, Sean and Jay shared how their close bond significantly stopped one (or both) of them from an immense tragedy.
Sean tremendously respects his father, but his father also respects him and genuinely considers his ideas while listening to what he has to say. “Whether it’s within family matters or in a business environment, mutual collaboration is Key.”
As Sean Bloom escalates in business and entrepreneurship, his laser focus on assessing risks and rewards remains vital.
Bloom’s close relationship with his father, Jay, saved their lives and demonstrated the importance of open communication and mutual respect in personal and professional relationships.
As Sean forges ahead with his ventures, his unique perspective and experiences growing up in Las Vegas will continue to shape his decision-making process.
As a 21-year-old with a multi-million dollar net worth and a massive social media following, Sean Bloom clearly has his sights set on success.
In Sean’s words, the only way to beat the house is to be the house.
