Redlands’ LifeHouse Theater will present its musical adaptation of “Phantom of the Opera,” opening 7 p.m. July 13 and running weekends through Aug. 11.

Wayne Scott, LifeHouse Theater’s founder and president, wrote the theater’s adaptation based on the novel by Gaston Leroux, and Zach Marsh, a television music composer, has worked with Scott in creating the score, lyrics and orchestration, according to a news release.

LifeHouse Theater’s “Phantom” premiered in 2017 and returned in 2019.

The cast of this year’s production features Jacob Williams as Erik, the Phantom; Magnolia Swire as Christine Daaé; and Burrell Handy as Raoul.

Also in the cast of more than 30 are Diana Handy as Carlotta Guidicelli, Levi Michel as Pierre Dubois, Haley Derry as Meg Giry, Jeremy Carlson as Armand Moncharmin, Nick Diliberto as Firmin Richard, Ed Derry as Gerrard Sorelli, James Myers as Philippe de Chagny, Luke Michel as Commissioner Mifroid and Tamalisa Carlson as Madame Giry.

Jennifer M. DeWitt is director and choreographer for the production. Sage Manson is assistant director, Jeremy Yeo is music director, Micah Derry is assistant choreographer and Machir Lakofka is costume designer. Scenic design is by Luke Michel and lighting design is by Josiah Evans.

After opening night, performances are 7 p.m. Fridays, 2 and 7 p.m. Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, plus one Thursday performance, at 7 p.m. Aug. 8. There will be no performances July 26-28.

Advance tickets are $28 or $24 for adults and $14 or $12 for children ages 3 to 12, available at lifehousetheater.com or by calling 909-335-3037. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance.

LifeHouse Theater is at 1135 N. Church St., Redlands, and free parking is available behind the theater.
