Lillian DuMond

Lillian S. DuMond of Middletown, N.Y., a retired secretary for the Sarah Wells Girl Scouts and a longtime resident of the area passed away on June 27, 2024. She was 88.

The daughter of the late Elmer and Gertrude Dagen, she was born on February 26, 1936 in Watervliet, N.Y.

She was the widow of Richard DuMond.

Lillian was a longtime member of the Salvation Army. She served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Washington Heights Fire Department.

Survivors include her children Stephen DuMond and his wife Phyllis and Kathryn LaSpina and her husband Frank. Her sister Helen Behan and her sisters-in-laws Joanne Hill and Ethel Kruger. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond Dagen and her sister Mary Wheeler.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday July 12, 2024 from 3-7 P.M. at the Martinez-Morse Funeral Home 33 Railroad Avenue Middletown, N.Y.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday July 13, 2024 at 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home

Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery Phillipsburg, N.Y.
