"Recently the West Mall Independent Studies changed curriculum to an online program called Apex. It is now one of the worst schooling programs I've ever seen or heard of. The program itself has typos everywhere, and frequently has errors with answers where it will mark you incorrect and then tell you the correct answer was the one you chose.This year none of the students were allowed to have Winter Break or Spring Break because ""Apex couldn't be scheduled around the breaks"". If a student wanted to have an actual break, they would have had to triple their work load the few weeks before.If a student can't finish an assignment, their entire schooling gets held hostage until they can complete it, resulting in insane stress and dozens of ""late assignments"". Dropping an assignment for a lower grade is not an option.The result is that my sister, who gets A's and A+'s in her public school classes, is getting C's in her home school classes."
