I've had 3mls of juvederm voluma spread between my cheeks, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines. I was very anxious about this amount but was told it was very conservative for the face. Unfortunately after the recovery period and weeks later my face feels heavy, highly pressurised, and always slightly aching. Additionally, the area on the marionette lines has now created jowls. Why might this have happened? Is it true 3ml is very little? I am looking to get everything dissolved.
Its 5yrs since I had filler (restylane, juvederm) injected in under eye area. After last injection, area was bruised & swollen-took months for the swelling & discoloration to heal. For 5yrs whenever I smile, under eye nodules (soft) visible there. Tried Hyalurondaise injections. No change. Met with Manhattan plastic surgeon. He doesnt want to touch it.Another p.surgeon said lumps may be old filler/water collecting there. Wont do biopsy-concerned about scaring. PLEASE help me!

I received juvederm tear trough fillers 02/09/24 and have had a reoccurring issue happen 7 times since then. It will last between 3-7 days to clear up. I literally am down to using nothing but Vaseline for drynes on my face now. My tear trough will start burning and turn bright red with a chemical burn feeling out of nowhere. Then it will start peeling/ flaking. Never had issues until fillers and I have fillers in other areas of my face. Sent a friend there and she now has issues flaking/dryness
I am a 26 year old female with medium to tan skin. The last time I got lip filler, 2 weeks later, my lips were diffusely covered with cold sores. I did not think they were linked with filler due to the timeline. My cheek also had a raised itchy rash. After now receiving a lip flip, I have a similar tingling sensation on my lip and the same cheek rash. I never experienced this prior with botox or filler. Are they linked? How can I avoid in the future?
I'm interested to have under-eye fillers to treat dark circles, and later have a rhinoplasty. I understand that after a rhinoplasty the under-eye area is swollen and becomes purple. Will the rhinoplasty ruin the results of the under eye fillers? Will it make the fillers dissolve faster?
Hi. Just scheduled an appt for fillers and then found out I need to have a precancerous lesion removed above my lip. The fillers were for the marionette lines. Since the fillers arent going in the same place is it better to get the fillers then proceed with the surgery or vice versa. If the surgery is first how long do I wait to get the fillers. The dermatologist did say I could wait a few months to have the surgery done Thank you
