Actress Jenny Mollen Biggs Celebrates Mother’s Day with a Mommy Makeover

Who needs eggs Benedict to celebrate Mother’s Day when you can have cosmetic surgery? If you’re Jenny Mollen Biggs, the answer is: no one. The writer and actress, who married Jason Biggs after the two met on the set of their film My Best Friend’s Girl, gave her followers a behind-the-scenes look at her self-described “Mother’s Day makeover” with New York City board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Oren Tepper. (Her mom, Peggy, also joined for her own procedures.)

The mother of two underwent chin liposuction, a breast lift, and a fat transfer to her under-eye area using fat harvested from her knees and thighs. (Her mother, meanwhile, opted to get a lip lift and fat injections in the backs of her hands; Dr. Tepper also created detached earlobes.)

Mollen posted several snapshots from her experience to Instagram and shared a series of Instagram Stories that she’s saved as a highlight (aptly named “Plastic Surgery”). She opens with a helpful disclaimer: “If you’re one of these women that wants to write in to me and tell me that I shouldn’t be doing things to my body, remind yourself today: This isn’t happening to you. This is happening to me. And you don’t even know me. Women in their mid-40s are doing things, okay? A lot of women. More than you know,” she says before the surgery. “I’m sharing them with you, because I want you to have a fun romp with us. I want you guys to have the Mother’s Day version of a Hallmark Christmas movie today. So watch or don’t watch, but please, save the comments.”

Before heading to the OR, she also documents a mini consultation with Dr. Tepper about what she’s getting done. “As you can see, I have some dots here, because I’m getting little fat pads here,” Mollen says, pointing to her chin before the camera pans down to her breasts. “I’m marked up everywhere, guys. We learned today that my sternum is not correct.” (Dr. Tepper then explains that her breast bone is a little “off,” and the breast lift should help to create symmetry.)

The next video follows Mollen from behind as she exuberantly walks topless toward the OR. “I’m fine. I feel like I’m going to be nude anyway,” she says as she enters the room. “Hi guys!” She goes on to document her experience on the operating table, panning down to her legs. “They’re taking thigh fat that I’ve been harvesting for Oren. And randomly, there—that I was never feeling any insecurity about,” she says, pointing to her inner left knee.

To little surprise at this point, her first post-op video is very funny. “Good news, you guys. My theory proved correct—I always say, if you Instagram Live consistently, you don’t die,” she says. “I wouldn’t get lucky enough to Story my own death.”

Then, to satisfy those who, she says, constantly ask about what exactly she’s had done, she briefly walks through her results. “Oren added a little bit of fat here … to soften the line between my eye trough and my cheek,” she says, pointing to her cheek. “And I have new boobs, which will be revealed in the Live.”

As far as pain goes, it seems like the best case scenario: “Nothing crazy,” says Mollen, who adds that her chin hurts the most and feels a little tender. Since then, she’s documented her follow-up appointment with Dr. Tepper as well as a celebratory, post-op meal of octopus—making for what seems like an especially memorable Mother’s Day.
