"Fellows" is a position given to highly esteemed researchers elected from among the employees who have made their mark globally and whose distinguished achievements in research have already received worldwide recognition. A fellow heads a research team and is responsible for driving forward innovative research in a critical area that has global significance.
Senior Distinguished Researchers
"Senior Distinguished Researchers" is a position given to researchers who have made outstanding contributions in their field and are expected to stay active for a long time. They are elected from among "distinguished researchers," a position given to innovative researchers who have already achieved global recognition for their exemplary work. A senior distinguished researcher is responsible for leading innovative research or cutting-edge technical development in research areas considered to be important for the NTT Group over the long term.
