RCMP launching awareness campaign and seeking public assistance in connection with Chinese foreign interference in Quebec

The RCMP Federal Policing in Quebec is launching a campaign today to raise public awareness regarding foreign interference activities such as threats, intimidation or harassment committed by the People's Republic of China.

Anyone with information about these criminal activities are encouraged to communicate with the RCMP by phone at 514-939-8301, or through the RCMP National Security Information Network at 1-800-420-5805 or online at rcmp.ca/report-it. A campaign video has been posted on the RCMP's social media accounts (YouTube, X, Facebook and Instagram).

RCMP officers, supported by officers from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal and the Service de police de l'agglomération de Longueuil, will be present to meet with community members at various locations in Montréal and Brossard. Members of the media should note that a spokesperson will be available to answer questions from journalists.
