Greetings! My name is Christopher. I’m blessed and committed to helping amazing people learn how to manage the challenges in their lives that are caused by unproductive emotions, thoughts, behaviors, financial hardships, family/relationship dysfunction, and everyday life events. I assist clients in establishing desired objectives and goals by helping them to learn life management and coping skills that will allow them to overcome anxieties, adversities, self-doubt, unbelief, and much more, as well as how to address underlying cognitive functioning that has led to self-defeating or self-sabotaging thoughts and behaviors.
I believe in the use of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. REBT focuses on helping clients pay attention to what is going on currently versus past events. This helps clients develop new ways of thinking about events, thus preventing maladaptive cognitions, behaviors, feelings, and negative emotions. Other types of therapies are also utilized when needed.
My main objective is to help amazing people realize that they have more control over their reactions and lives than they currently believe. Helping clients to understand this can lead to an improved quality of life for them.
