However, nothing makes me more proud than being me, and I want to help you feel better about yourself. My work as a therapist has been guided by fierce passion and compassion. I have worked with people of all ages ranging from children to the elderly, with more focus devoted to those in their late teen s - mid - life stages . I specialize in working with anxiety, anger management, ADHD, stress management, improving relationships and communication, navigating life transitions, and parenting challenges. I have considerable experience supporting LGBTQIA individuals and helping them to navigate the challenges they may encounter with family, friends, or community. I also have worked extensively with parents on navigating challenging childhood behaviors and teenage puberty.

My goal as a therapist is to support you during difficult life transitions. These transitions may include becoming a parent, starting or ending a marriage, leaving home for the first time, or untying yourself from a religious identity that was once important to you. Transitions and changes may evoke a sense of grief and loss, regardless if it's positive, negative, or neutral. As a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, I can help you with the difficult emotions that are associated with these changes. Our sessions would focus on finding the root of your symptoms, processing your grief, and starting your healing journey.

Hello, my name is Renata! My experience has focused on trauma, anxiety, and childhood concerns - things that we can all relate to, but we may have second thoughts or some hesitation about addressing or even acknowledging. Sometimes we feel disconnected and detached from others, emotionally fatigued and/or on edge, and sometimes we just feel "off" and have no idea where to start. Starting therapy is a life changing experience that requires a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic approach to begin the healing process.
