The therapeutic experience should encourage one to live a more satisfying and meaningful life. Everyone has a unique journey through this world and the sum of the experiences along the way (good or bad) make us as individual. Sometimes we get lost, hit bumps, or even get overcome with a tidal wave of things that we need help getting back on our path or creating a new one.
I have worked with people for over 30 years in: Emergency Services, At-Risk Teens, Victims of Crime, Career Changes, and with survivors of grief. Additionally, I worked in Iraq for a period of time in 2005 and understand the gravity of PTSD and adjustments our service men and woman endure. I want to hear "your story" and help you to be on your path.
Most of my Clients have shared that they enjoy the direct feedback approach to my sessions. I am not the kind of therapist who just sits and stares at you. Reality Therapy / Choice Theory is my core treatment and we will deal with things directly. I do use whatever treatment/process works for you and we decide together on the path but we are in this together
