Adversity is a part of life, but that does not mean we have to face it alone. I help clients to take charge of pursuing their goals while fostering a supportive and healthy atmosphere. I work with children, adolescents, parents, and families in their journey toward enhancing their mental health. By using the family systems approach, I have a clear understanding of how clients experiencing difficult relationships, traumatic events, transitions, bullying or how school stress can affect the entire family. I help clients refine their communication with their support system as well as practice healthy coping skills.
My approach to therapy is client centered, and I work to provide a safe space so individuals are able to make progress on delicate topics. I approach therapy with warmth and understanding so that my clients feel comfortable dealing with difficult issues. I want to empower clients to create change in their own lives by practicing assertive communication.
