I am devoted to working with children (9-12 years old), adolescents, and adults who are struggling with life's many challenges and transitions. Life can be stressful, and for most of us it is very difficult to ask for help when we are feeling alone with our thoughts. This is why I have built my practice off of a client-centered perspective where I value your time and effort during our sessions. We will collaborate together, and build off of your strengths in order to identify healthy coping strategies that are conducive to your lifestyle. In turn, this will help you to accomplish personal goals and improve your quality of life.
I specialize in working with those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, family dynamics, low self-esteem, interpersonal/ environmental stressors, etc. I use strengths-based & solution-focused perspective, CBT, and motivational interviewing amongst other modules in order to provide opportunities for growth, empowerment, and creativity.
My primary goal is to provide a safe, warm, normalizing, and judgement-free space so that the process of therapy does not feel invasive or intimidating. There are no stupid questions when it comes to asking more about therapy, and I encourage you to ask away! I pride myself on being able to provide more knowledge, resources, and referrals as needed.
