As the owner of an organic snacks brand for kids, Jennifer Garner has good taste—in pretty much everything, including shoes. The actress, 49, recently rocked a pair of comfy, casual sneakers on Instagram while twirling through her best ballet moves. Although the Veja SDU Recs aren’t technically made for dancing, Garner made them work.
It helps that they’re super stylish and great for other activities like walking, jogging, or running errands. In Garner’s video, shared on February 18, the shoes supported all of the basic ballet positions. Trading a leotard for denim overalls, she (and her fluffy cat named Moose) started with some plies in the kitchen and carried the dancing party into the greenhouse and outside.
Perhaps next time, the Yes Day star will want to upgrade to some ballet flats, but the Veja SDU Recs didn’t let her down. This isn’t the first time she’s been spotted wearing them, either.
The breathable shoes are a great eco-friendly pick (which jives perfectly with Garner’s sustainability efforts), as they’re made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. The glued sole is made from rubber and rice waste, and the accent panels are vegan suede.
In her video, Garner sported the baby blue and gray colorway with seafoam accents, which is unfortunately hard to find online. However, similar designs—like the Natural/California pattern—are just as cute and available on Amazon and Zappos. Shoppers love them.
