The Gulf of Maine Research Institute has hired Nana Annan as chief operating officer. Previously, Annan was the chief operating officer for Harlem Children’s Zone in New York. She holds a bachelor’s in computer and information science from Spelman College and a juris doctor from Boston University School of Law.

Nichole England is the new assistant vice president and branch relationship manager for the Brunswick location of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. England has been working in retail banking for nine years. Previously, she was a multi-site assistant banking center manager for Camden National Bank.

Isabel Ekman
Isabel Ekman is now the practice group leader of the Maine school law group at Drummond Woodsum. Ekman has been with Drummond Woodsum’s school law group since 2014 and is also a shareholder and chair of the hiring committee. She has a bachelor’s in psychology and French from Mt. Holyoke College and a juris doctor from the University of Maine School of Law.

Jonathan Trumper is the new state director for SCORE Maine. Previously, he was the organization’s southern Maine chapter chair and led its diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. He has a bachelor’s from Kenyon College and a master’s from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
