About Clarisse

Born and raised in Rwanda, Clarisse’s journey into the world of music began at a young age, where her roots in traditional Rwandan music laid the foundation for her distinctive style. Her music promotes humanity, kindness and unity while advocating for a world where diversity is celebrated.

Since relocating to Maine, Clarisse has become a fixture in the local music scene, captivating audiences with her performances at venues like Mayo Street Arts, Merrill Auditorium, One Longfellow Square, and Waynflete. To date, Clarisse has released over 45 songs and was awarded the title of Best Female Artist in Rwanda in 2019.
