Dubbed “Mama Duck,” it’s billed as the “world’s largest rubber duck.”

Workers inflated the fowl Wednesday, July 3, next to The Diamond stadium in Lake Elsinore.

The smiling yellow duck, which tours the globe, will entertain visitors during activities on Independence Day and other days through Saturday, July 6. It measures 61 feet tall, 64 feet wide and 74 feet long.

Curious visitors can take a gander at the duck — and shoot photos with it — over the next three days, between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Parking at the minor league baseball venue is free.

Specific festivities surrounding the duck include:

  • Thursday, July 4: Independence Day Party with fireworks,  4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday, July 5: Jeep Show & Shine, 8 a.m. to noon.
  • Saturday, July 6: Bye-Bye Duck event, 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

There also will be live music and food vendors all three nights.
