John Sakellariadis is a cybersecurity reporter at POLITICO where he focuses on election security, cybercrime, critical infrastructure protection and government surveillance.

He is well known among many readers, however, for his fearless reporting on the viral history of the shirtless POTUS.

Prior to POLITICO, John worked as a freelance technology and cybersecurity journalist, and a national security research assistant at the American Enterprise Institute. He also spent a year in Athens, Greece, as a Fulbright student research scholar.

John now lives in D.C. with his wife and his cat, Sponge.
