Camille covers the environment in California for POLITICO. She previously covered rural San Diego County for the investigative newsroom inewsource and the aftermath of a deadly wildfire for the daily Chico Enterprise-Record. She got her start at E&E News in Washington, D.C.

Camille earned a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Geneva. As a child, she immigrated to the Bay Area from Switzerland, to which she attributes her love of mountain sports.
