How to link your Discord account to PlayStation Network 

Find out how to link your account for PlayStation™Network (PSN) with your Discord account.

How to link your accounts online

  1. Go to Account Management.
  2. Go to PlayStation Network > Linked Services.
  3. Select Discord from the list and follow the on-screen instructions to link your accounts.
  1. Press the PS button to open the control center, and select Game Base > Discord.
  2. Select Link Account
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  1. Open the Discord app on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android or the web.
  2. Go to User Settings > Connections Add, and select the PlayStation logo.
  3. In the next window, sign in with your PSN sign in ID and password, and confirm that you want to connect your accounts.
  4. Once connected, from Discord you can choose to toggle display of your online ID on your profile, and to toggle displaying PlayStation Network as your status.

  • Please note, you need to set your Online Status and Now Playing privacy settings on PSN to Anyone for your online status to be visible on Discord.
  • This feature may not be available to all child accounts, depending on age and location. For more information, visit the Discord age restriction support article.
  • For parents and family managers, you may control your child’s access and use of communication features, including access to Discord, through the Communication and User-Generated Content parental control setting.

How to unlink Discord from PlayStation Network 

  1. Go to Account Management.
  2. Go to PlayStation Network > Linked Services.
  3. Select Discord to unlink your accounts.
  1. Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Linked Services.
  2. Choose Discord, and then select Unlink Account.
  3. Select Yes, Unlink.
    Discord is unlinked, and Linked no longer appears next to the service.
  1. Open the Discord app on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android or the web.
  2. Go to User Settings > Connections and select the X button next to the PlayStation logo.
  3. In the new menu, confirm that you would like to proceed with unlinking the accounts by pressing the Disconnect button.

Can my friends see my PSN online status on Discord?

Linking your account for PlayStation Network to Discord is a great way to share your gaming activity on PlayStation Network with friends. Once you link your account, you'll be able to share the following with Discord users:

  • Your PSN online ID in your Discord profile.
  • The PlayStation games you’re playing.
  • How long you’ve been playing.

How to set your PSN status to appear offline on Discord

If you choose to appear offline on PSN, your PSN online status doesn’t show in Discord either. Your hidden games settings also apply to Discord.

In most cases, your online ID will automatically update with subsequent gameplay activity on your PlayStation console after changing your online ID.  In some cases, you will need to reconnect your account
