Swing Dance
Swing dance originated in Harlem during the early 1930s. The dance arose with the Jazz era. They first appeared in jazz clubs, but the dance spread to other communitties as well. There are many other dancers in the background dressed in clothing typically worn on a couple's night out. Their casual background of closely packed people in a building and date night clothing suggest their dance is probably not choregraphed, and the dancers move freely with the music.
