Vynil stairs ideas

I actually did this project. I used my Cricut to cut the lettering in vinyl and I cut fiberboard sheets to fit the backs of the risers so I could paint them and apply the lettering and THEN glue them to the stairs. It went pretty well. I need to caulk a little and apply a matte polyurethane. Someday. LOL!!!!

I had 20 year old carpet so i ripped it off to find good wood inderneath except the landings so i sanded down the particle board and put vynil plank. To create an edge i used a heat gun 2 boards and clamps to mold around the lip of landing. So happy with result!
