Menhaj Huda made his name as the director of Kidulthood (2006), a British urban drama about troubled 15-year-olds in west London. His new film, Everywhere and Nowhere, is about a British Asian teenager working out his identity. Here he discusses his admiration for actor Denzel Washington.
