Stingless bees

The mystery of what creates the rare, healthy sugar found in stingless bee honey, has been solved by researchers at The University of Queensland, in collaboration with Queensland Health Forensic and Scientific Services.

Bees store their honey in honeycombs. These are often flat sheets made of tiny hexagons. Except, that’s not the whole story. There are many different species of bees, and there are lots of ways that bees build honeycombs.
