The piddix archival collection is especially strong in French imagery, and over the years I’ve collected nearly 5000 French illustrations and typographical examples originally from menus, theatre programs, advertisements, newspapers, perfume labels, sweets wrappers and woodcut engravings, mostly from the Art Nouveau period (1890s-1910s).
