Phuoc Quan This one is a mini project that I practice the workfllow from using 3D to 2D. It's a port city setting in a fantasy world and I used SketchUp, Zbrush, Keyshot and Photoshop for the whole project. Elturel

For most travelers, the docks are the first sight of the city experienced. It is a bustling area where longshoremen constantly load and unload cargo destined for Absalom's markets and elsewhere. The district itself is a rather rough place, as the Harbor Guard tends to turn a blind eye to most brawls and the like as long as things don't get out of hand.

My friend Ken Darmadi and I redesigned some environments from one of our favorite childhood games: Ragnarok Online. for The Drawing Table Podcast. I decided to go with the port city of Alberta, and tried to retain the summery and lively mood that the place has invoked in me. It's been one of the most challenging pieces I've had to do so far, but I've learned a lot! Hopefully it invokes some nostalgia and warm memories in those that played the game growing up too!
