Dian Masalanta is the most loving of the gods in heaven, punished by God for loving a mortal. She was thrown into the world.

This post will explore some of the ancient Tagalog deities in the Philippines, before Catholicism was introduced to the islands.

Lakapati is known as the kindest deity of the tagalog. Every time of harvest, the people raise their children in heaven and pray.

Children of Bathala: Mayari, Tala, and Hanan.Mayari is the Goddess of the Moon. Tala is the Goddess of the Stars. Hanan is the Goddess of the Morning.

Anitun Tabu is also called Anitun Tauo in Zambales. It is said that she had a be very high position among the gods but she was demoted.
