3D Touch Screens in museums act as an interactive experience kiosk for visitors as they are invited to “touch and explore” the 3D models. Visitors can touch a screen to zoom in, rotate and examine the objects at their own pace – using gestures similar to a smartphone. This allows the audience to obtain a better understanding of the objects' formal qualities and feel as though they are in control of the object.
