If you do receive a fruit pack from us, and there is one or more that is moldy, stay calm! The mold is not contagious and it's only on the surface of the other fruit in the pack. Do not discard all of the fruit. Remove the undamaged fruit and wash in a mild soapy water solution. After drying rinse in a mild vinegar/water (1 oz. vinegar to 1/2 gal. water) solution to kill any mold spores that may still be present. You can then peel and eat or refrigerate for later!

This is a guide about preventing mold on fresh berries. It is so disappointing to buy fresh berries only to have them mold before you can use them all.
