The JWST space telescope teams have released a couple of gorgeous images of the Pillars of Creation located in the Eagle Nebula located in the direction of the Milky Way Core and about 6000 Light Years from Earth. While the near infrared image showing all the stars is gorgeous, it's the mid infrared image showing the details of the clouds of gas and dust that I find hauntingly beautiful. Cory Poole Photography
