This Italian marble statue of Flora, Roman Goddess of flowers and Spring, is located in the Ballarat Botanic Gardens. Created by the artist G. Marchetti, Flora is one of twelve statues that make up the Stoddart Statue Collection, which was presented to the people of Ballarat by Thomas Stoddart (1828-1905) in 1884.
