Yield 1/2 - 3/4 cup seasoning🧂

8 large lemons (just the peels; avoid the pith = 1 cup whole, dried and dehydrated) 
2 Tbsp Black Peppercorns 
1/2 tsp Flaky Sea Salt 
1 Tbsp Dehydrated Garlic Flakes 
2 tsp Himalayan Course Salt (rocks) 
1 tsp Dried Parsley 
2 tsp Dried Onion Flakes 
1 tsp Dried Thyme

Place the lemon peels on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet. Preheat the oven to 170F, bake for 4 hours - or until fully dried and dehydrated. 
Use a spice grinder; pulse the peels, salts and dried herbs until you reach the coarseness of your preference.

This is a good way to use up extra onions/garlic and store them for future uses. Be sure to store in cool, dry places at room temperature in AIRTIGHT containers out of sunlight. Creamy Herby Hemp Dressing (makes 2 servings) 

1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 of a jalapeño, seeds and pith removed
3 tbsp hemp seeds 
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp miso paste (any kind) 
2 pitted medjool dates
2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp mustard powder
1.5 cups water 

1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried onion flakes 
1 tbsp dried chives
2 tsp dried dill
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Blend all the ingredients (except the dried onion flakes, parsley, chives, dill and red pepper flakes) until super creamy. Add the dried Hemp Dressing, Dried Onion Flakes, Dried Chives, Onion Flakes, Dried Dill, Mustard Powder, Miso Paste, Dried Parsley, Raw Foods
