Also known as the Black Vulture, This Accipiter Raptor is among the largest birds of prey. It has a very impressive wing span of over 3 meters and attains a height of 1.5 meters and can weigh up to 14 KG. Its distribution is from Central Asia to Portugal and southwards to Pakistan and India. In India, one of the best places to see it at close range is the garbage dump in the outskirts of Bikaner city in Rajasthan.
