Indo-Persian bazu band (vambrace / arm guard), 17th c, traces of gold-damascened foliate decoration and calligraphy along each side, later gilt-copper mounts chased with foliage, the center set with a hardstone seal inscribed 'Mohammed', imitation turquoises, plates with gold-damascened borders attached by later gilt-metal links, riveted mail mitten with three turquoise-set buttons and small silver boss in a border of enamelled buttons, embossed gilt-metal link wrist strap, 55 cm.
Pazyryk burials - Wikipedia
One of the most ancient pile carpets in the world, ca. 400 BC, Pazyryk. This carpet has 3600 symmetrical double knots per cm² (232 per inch²), in modern terminology also called "Turkish Knot. The carpet shows great similarities to modern Turkmen carpets and carpets of the early Seljuq period. The numerical values of the carpet also show striking parallels to the Oghuz-legend, perhaps based on an older version of the Massageteans.
همچنین سبک کار (گره زدن) به شیوه قالیبافی ایرانیان است. بهره گیری از رنگ های متفاوت و تقارن آنها نشان می‌دهد این قالی در یک کارگاه مجهز و با تبعیت از یک الگوی دقیق بافته شده است. جالب اینجاست که در قاب های بالایی آن نماد های X مانندی دیده می شوند که در واقع نشانگر درفش کاویانی یا پرچم کاوه هستند که در دوران ساسانیان و اشکانیان به مهمترین پرچم ایران تبدیل شد.
