Outer Full Range Curls - By taking your elbows out wide you can get a complete full stretch of the biceps - more stretch equals more gains! Make sure to keep your elbows in a fixed position at all times, in line with your waist. Aim for 6-10 reps. 2. Single Arm Leaning Curls - Ever noticed when you do bicep curls you end up hitting yourself with the weight 😑 Try leaning slightly into the same side you are curling, this will allow for full range of motion and again a greater stretch. Aim for 6-10 reps per arm. 3. Preacher Curls - You can also do this on the designated preacher curl bench or in a deep squat position like shown. Take a wide squat stance and allow your elbows to lean on your knees - this helps isolate the biceps and stops other muscles from assisting with the curl. Aim for 8-12 reps. 4. Reverse Hammer Curls - Focus on keeping your elbows close into your waist, curl the dumbbell up inwards towards your chest, alternating arms which each rep. Aim for 6-10 reps per arm. 5. Bent over Spider Curls - You can also do these on a bench but if you don’t have one available then lower yourself down into a bent over position - keeping your spine and neck in neutral. Allow your arms to hang down straight and then curl the dumbbells up towards your shoulders. Aim for 6-12 reps.
