Marc Anthony celebrated 30 years in the music industry in 2021 with a performance at the Billboard Latin Music awards.

The global star opened up to Billboard about his house music origins, finding himself in salsa musica, mentoring the genre's next-in-line superstars and getting respect for Latin culture amid celebrating three decades in the business.
Mauro Castillo, former singer of salsa orchestra Grupo Niche, was part of the ensemble to perform “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”

Castillo was born in Cali, Colombia but now lives in Miami thanks to an extraordinary ability visa, joined a short list of Colombian acts to have reached the chart — including Shakira, Juanes, Carlos Vives, J Balvin, Maluma and Karol G.
Philadelphia-born Puerto Rican artist Luis Figueroa says all types of music surrounded his life growing up, from salsa to soul to R&B and beyond. It was then when an 11-year-old Luis began to explore his love for music. “I learned complete songs that showcased my vocal abilities,” he told Billboard.

In a fewer than five years, he performed at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, took the stage at Premios Juventud, debuted on the Billboard charts and was the opening act on Anthony’s Opus Tour.
