Rail Brothers on Instagram: "Getting smoked on the Hometown Grade! 2102 charges up the Hometown Grade with a string of 50 hopper cars (and a caboose!) during test runs in April of 2022 after its recent rebuild. The big 4-8-4 northern engine was labeled as a T1 class locomotive by the Reading Railroad. It was originally built as a smaller 2-8-0 I-10 locomotive before being rebuilt by the Reading shops during WWII into the 4-8-4 it is today. #readingandnorthern #steamtrains #stacktalk"
