Dinton Castle
Dinton Castle, also known as Dinton Folly, was built as en eycatcher for Dinton Hall Estate. Built in 1769 by Sir John Vanhatten, Dinton Castle was originally used to store his collection of fossils and ammonites. The castle was also believed to be used as a servants quarters and as a meeting place for a local non-conformist congregation. The property wss left abandoned and in ruin until just a few years ago when it was restored on the UK TV program 'Grand Designs'.

Astwell Castle
Astwell Castle is a manor house located in Northamptonshire, England. Parts of the house (such as the gatehouse) date back to the 15th century, while other parts have been built since. In 1943, at the height of WWII, a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber from USAAF station 109 Podington crashed near the castle farm buildings. All ten crew members died in the crash, there is now a memorial on the castle grounds honouring the ten men. To read more about Astwell Castle, visit our blog.

Clavell Tower - The Tower That Moved
Clavell Tower, also known as Clavel Folly or Kimmeridge Tower, is a Grade II listed building on the Jurassic Coast, in Dorset England. In 2006, the Landmark Trust, who now owns the property, invested £900,000 moving the tower 82 feet inland, away from the eroding cliff edge. Ashby Manor House - Home Of The Gunpowder Plot
Ashby Manor house has existed for over 1000 years, it was once owned by Robert Catesby, who was one of the main men behind the Gunpoweder Plot in 1605. Robert Catesby also happens to be a relative of Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow in Game of Thrones. The house today is lived in, but also used as a wedding venue.
