That was possibly the slowest i've seen Sam Hill Move. That trail looks so sick. shame it's not happening again. It puts the 'mountian' in mountain biking. Really good VOD.

exetertim I actually didn't think it was Sam Hill, because I thought "Usually isn't he tearin up the course" that guy was barely moving 0o

It was sam hill you know because he has the blackbox fork on the bike, and I was thinking the same thing, going pretty slow ???

In Seasons they mention that even the fastest riders say there are portions of the Mt. Seven course that the slowest they can go is too fast... That was Hill, I believe, and going the speed mandated by the trail for someone who wants to complete and win the race.

it had rained the night before and early that morning.. but asside from that Anybody Would be breaking at that point on the Track it's retardedly steep.
I liked the video, Looking foreward to seeing some other videos of psychosis..
and also Agree that it's a bummer that this was the last year.... who know's maybe if there's enough demand for it it will return..or maybe some other entity asside from Redbull will undertake the Effort of hosting a race there next year...

I live in Golden and all the riders I know that grew up here are glad psychosis is over. That run was once smooth single track and now it's as you see it. Just the amount of riders that hit it during the race takes a heavy toll on the trail let alone all the practice runs prior. Yes races are fun but you probably wouldn't be too stoked either to see your local spot swarmed every year and your runs erode away at an alarming rate. 10 years is plenty, it's time to move on.

I just finished watching Seasons and there is a section with this DH course in it, guys like Sam Hill and Stevie Smith were getting right around 13min! That is a brutal DH course, can't even imagine running hard for that long on a course like that! Sick video, it was cool to see even more of the mountain and trail than they showed in Seasons.
