Henry's Waffle House: Bike Brands Need to Get A Grip
@dthomp325: I think it depends on what you're goal is with having a shorter travel bike.
Some trails you can ride faster on a shorter travel bike due to it being smoother, easier to pump and corner quicker with less suspension. Generally sharper handling cuz it'll probably be less slack and have a shorter wheelbase.
But for some riders that are very fast they'll have tire squirm/burping issues on smooth trails so a heavier casing tire could be warranted. Not necessarily because they are going to get flats but for the grip/casing characteristics that come from a DH tire.
To be clear i'm not in that boat, i'm pretty slow and do just fine with exo+ front and rear. But i know people who ride really quick and need to run burly tires to avoid ripping tires off on their short travel bikes.

Better brakes and tires on stock builds please!
You mention the trance and tires - what is your opinion on heavy tires on a 130ish bike?

$500 USDExt Era 2.1 150mm
I just got it back from being fully serviced, so it is running like it is new. It is a great fork, i'm selling because I'm building up my bike to have a bit less travel and weight. I've had no issues with it and it performs as advertised.
Specs:
150mm travel
44mm offset
Steerer tube is 8.5 inches
