Gotta respect PFP for being so single minded in the run up to this - for any athlete to focus on one single event, particularly one where there are some many outside influences that can ruin it for them, is a huge gamble. To pull it off in such a fashion was incredible, she utterly dominated the entire field. Chapeau!

First Look: Kona Process 153 & 134
With short legs for my height, Kona have absolutely nailed these with short seat tubes and long reach and a seat that moves forward out of the way when dropped.
Loads of stuff released recently has awful tall, almost vertical seat tubes which is no good for people like me.
6 of one, half a dozen of the other... Youll never please everyone!

Its XCC Short Track racing.... so yes, racing round a field, just like the worlds pros do.
The actual XC racing (or XCO if you will) at Tong/Parkwood is plenty gnarly!

First thing that jumps out from the editorial and the geo figures - this only goes to show that simply throwing a shorter travel shock on does not make a good short travel bike.
For it to work properly, it needs to designed ground up.

Review: Giant Trance X Advanced - Not Your Parents' Volvo
Seat tube length to size ratio is way out again.
I'm 5ft10/178cm and I'd need to ride a medium to have a decent length dropper of 150mm or more.
Yet the reach is a good 40mm less than it should be. My XC hardtail has a longer reach for that equivalent sizing.
Long leg guys can put the seatpost up or run long drops on bikes with short seat tubes.
But geo like this preclude anyone like me with short legs/long torso from buying it.

If your a midpack rider with an ego bigger than your results there may be a question to answer but... He cleaned up. He has the right to that attitude in my opinion
