The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: What Grips Pinkbike Editors Actually Use
Have you tried some push on bmx grips? They are usually a little wider so you can adjust hand position, and a bit softer than lock ons for the given diameter. My favorite are S&M Clint Reynolds grips, I find they are more forgiving on my old beat up wrists and hands.

Randoms Round 5 - Crankworx Whistler 2024
They made the 831 with a 36 chassis for a little while. They stopped making it shortly after the bomber dj came out, around 2020 I think.

Spotted: Cam Zink's Signature Freeride Bike
@lepigpen: I stand corrected on the can't get much shorter comment. I guess I'm so used to seeing around 430 I jumped to conclusions. Mostly though, my point was the clash is not significantly longer than most of the other bikes mentioned. I actually do prefer shorter cs and get along well with bikes around 430.

Spotted: Cam Zink's Signature Freeride Bike
@lepigpen: Pretty sure you can't get much shorter than 430 on a 27.5 rear end so not sure what your point of reference is. All those other bikes you referenced as being playful are only a few mm shorter than the clash.

@lepigpen: the clash has 434mm chain stays. That doesn't seem that long.
