Bob Jackson Reynolds 531 22 3/4 inch Campagnolo 1973

This is truly a unique find that blends the histories of England and the United States cycling culture. A beautiful bike with a rich history. Original owner picked this bicycle up at Bob Jackson’s factory in Leeds England in 1973 with the original Campagnolo Nuovo Record components currently on the bike. Bob Jackson himself greeted the owner and took him to lunch while his bike was being packed for a trans Atlantic trip back to the states. Bicycle was then repainted in 1985 by bicycle industry pioneers Mountain Goat Cycles’s in Chico, CA. Bicycle has been in storage since 2005 and has just been cleaned, lubed and taken for a check up ride. Frame has minor signs of wear and is in great condition considering the age. Comes with matching frame pump. Frame: Bob Jackson 531 Vintage 1973 Components: Campagnolo Nuovo Record Groupset and Hubset. Cinelli bar and stem.

Approximately 2008 model year in good working condition. Has a few recent upgrades including Bontrager RXL wheels and Shimano Ultegra 10 Speed Carbon Shift levers. All carbon tube to tube construction. Carbon Stem and 40cm wide Carbon handlebar. Comes with Look carbon cages and Lezyne pump. 2019 Trek Emonda SLR Size 58cm H2 color is Sunburst. Bike has just under 9 months of use. Almost full Dura Ace except for the rear Ultegra derailleur. New items are Bontrager R3 tires and tubes, new seatmast and Bontrager Montrose Elite saddle, Bontrager Pro 110mmx7 degree Stem. Bontrager XXX 42cm handlebar has a handful of rides on it as it was replaced with a wider Thomson bar after purchase. Recently tuned, comes in at 15 pounds 8 ounces without pedals.
