First Ride: Ibis Ripmo - Now With Downtube Storage & Mixed Wheel Compatibility
@pompousROb: Honestly this is just a side effect when adjusting chainstay length this way. Moving the instant center backwards (this happens when you move the main frame pivots backwards for increased CS length) counteracts the higher COG of a taller rider which evens out the anti squat and anti rise across the sizes. Some other bikes (Santa Cruz and Norco for example) do this as well. Anyways, in the end, for me personally, I came to the conclusion that chaingrowth/pedal kickback around the sag point is the main factor on how well a bike pedals/how snappy it feels when accelerating. Anti squat tends to be a kind of complicated way to look at things. BTW. all the anti rise and anti squat charts you see are quite meaningless because they usually never include the COG height. Sometimes they won't even include the gear ratio... Edit: Just noticed the size specific bb drop. Then they apparently did completely alter the linkage across all sizes. Otherwise the smalle bikes will simply pedal better while the larger ones have less pedal kickback.

They probably only moved the pivot points on the main frame forth and back a few mm so they only need one rear triangle mold. The downside is that the change across sizes is quite negligible.

Henry's Waffle House: Bike Brands Need to Get A Grip
I know a lot of people who ride size large enduro bikes with 180 droppers by choice

First Ride: The Wolf Tooth Resolve V2 is the Longest Dropper Post on the Market
All these bikes with straight seattubes to accomodate for extreme dropper length look quite ugly to me. Something about an at least slightly kinked seat tube just looks a lot more dynamic and modern.

Review: Mavic Deemax DH YLW - A Classic Downhill Wheelset
But they suck compared to what we ride now. Back then when you had an impact on your rim you knew you will have a ding in your rim and 50/50 for a snakebite in your tube.
