First Ride: Marin Quake - The Purple Park Machine
@Nobble: patrol + cascade full 27 with 200 up front is a great park bike. Little slow rolling but I can keep up with my buddies on high pivots in the tech

Roundup: The Bike Racks of Crankworx Whistler 2024
@The-Foiling-Optimist: while I don’t recommend, I’ve fit my truck in a couple of the garages there that label min clearance at ~6’8” and my truck measures 7’2” to my crossbars on my topper. Do have to take the bikes off my recon though

PNW Components Releases $199 Range Dropper Post & Lever Package
@pnwcomponents: I’d go for a post mounted lever just for the cleaner cockpit and not having to route housing by my bottom bracket

Henry's Waffle House: Bike Brands Need to Get A Grip
Tire inserts have killed my rear twice in the last 3 months. They have their place but not the saving grace I used to think, I do love the sidewall support though

First Ride: The Wolf Tooth Resolve V2 is the Longest Dropper Post on the Market
I’d guess the typically smaller saddles on dh bikes plays into it also, I definitely run my dh a bit higher than my trail bike (with dropper slammed) and both feel great

Industry Nine Announce Hydra Grade 300 V2 Alloy Wheelset
@erikhortsch: @DylanZ91: I’d bet dollars to donuts most people with i9 bearing problems had them over pressed. My first set lasted 3 years, had some new ones installed getting wheels rebuilt, lasted a week, I installed another set careful not to over press and no problems again
