I'll go out on a sturdy limb and say it wouldn't help much. Full sun puts out roughly 3000-5000 lumens per square foot, so you're going to need an insanely powerful light to make any kind of meaningful difference in the shadows. Looooose math: let's say you want to see 12ft of a berm, 3ft wide, so 36sq/ft....you'd need 144,000 lumen light (using the mid-range of 4000L/sq/ft) to just match the light produced by the sun. So yeah, probably better to just let er buck and pray you remember as many cheeky roots as you can.
